Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The island nation of Haiti recently suffered an earthquake which resulted in the deaths of at least 1,300 people and leaving thousands of others without food, shelter, and access to medical care. During the weekend of September 11 and 12.

St. Peter's, along with other parishes in the diocese, will be given the opportunity to share in the relief efforts, through a special collection. The funds will go to the USCCB Emergency Disaster Fund and Catholic Relief Services and/or Catholic Charities USA and will help provide the humanitarian assistance so greatly needed following this disaster. 

Thank you for your generosity to this collection, which, again, will be taken the weekend of September 11 and 12, and for your continued support of our parish and its mission.

Please note: The Peter's Pence collection originally scheduled for September 11 and 12, will be moved to the weekend of September 18 and 19.
